We, iranians have got a ceremony in "Charshanbe soori" Which we call it " Ghashosh zani" in which children use to go to neighbor's houses asking for candies and such things. To everybody's surprise I'm gona say that we have the roots of this custom in America Actually, they do this in the Halloween, in which thier young children do as ours or we'd better say our young childern do as theirs.
And it also has got a good name : i
